When you paint a house, what unique techniques or methods do you use compared to others?
When you get new speakers with an amplifier, a CD player, and a radio installed in your car, you're getting a new sound system. They are products and services bought together as one entire product. The idea of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts is at work here. You don't just pay us to paint your house; you are buying a paint system. We pressure wash existing paint from the surface, use high-quality primer and caulking, and use 2-3 coats of Sherwin Williams paint depending on your choice of warranty (10 year, or a lifetime warranty). This gives your house a much higher level of protection than simply applying a coat or two of paint. This work is all done at a fair price by our professional staff. The finished product will have your neighbors asking you where you got it done!
-
How often does a house need repainting?
A general estimate is to have it painted every 5-7 years, yet it varies by house material and the number of existing coats of paint. When we paint or refinish your house, it will last at least the life of the warranty.
-
Why have my house painted anyway?
Not only does the paint make your house look nice, but it also protects your investment and can lower heating bills. A properly painted house can save damage costs later from cracks and/or dry rot.
-
What do I do if I am unsatisfied with the work you have done, or it is incomplete?
While these types of problems rarely occur, we stand behind our work and our word. Just call our office at 724-282-3831 and tell us the problem you're experiencing. We'll schedule someone to come out and fix it.
-
Will overspray go onto or damage neighboring properties?
No. Our refinishing process breaks the paint up into small particles, which travel 6 to 8 feet before drying. These particles will not reach or damage neighboring property.
